Staff very pleasant and helpful .  Plates were cold  food was cold. , menu states &quot;bottomless gravy &quot;  ? we didnt have any had to ask for it, which was given.  Knives wouldnt cut a carrot...so perhaps new ones required.  Very disappointing .  Perhaps more concentration on food rather than fancy presentation.   We didnt complain as we were not paying the bill.

Always enjoy a carvery,not my 1st here which is why we go back. The food is good, affordable and the grandkids love it. The service was very good , it was busy and the waiting staff coped well. Generally very good

Really excellent service and food, and very very friendly Staff.  A meal to remember.

We knew the restaurant already. We asked for a table near the window and we got it. The staff were friendly and attentive.

A beautiful situation commanding magnificent riverside/estuary views (best at high tide). Plenty of parking in quiet backwater. Very good menu and tasty food - but my lady&#39;s main course bland and  disappointing (the sea bass with too many potatoes and pureed peas). Moderately priced. Service very good by cheery responsive girl  student. Will go again - but slightly disappointed - but my lady and I enjoyed it very much. Overall score 8/10.

After a worrying start as they couldn&rsquo;t find my reservation but I had a confirmation email and text the staff didn&rsquo;t make it a big deal and made us very comfortable and welcome as it was not only New Year&rsquo;s Day but my partners birthday! Food fantastic, views around beautiful and staff lovely! Thank you and will definitely be back in the summer as I live local but first time visiting
